This Privacy Policy explains how PocketCloud ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer of the PocketCloud mobile application (the "App"), handles information when you use the App. PocketCloud is a study app for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

PocketCloud is an independently developed Android app distributed through Google Play. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at abduloski.h@gmail.com.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used (for example, which screens are opened and general usage patterns) so we can improve it. This includes app activity, approximate technical information about your device and app, and the device Advertising ID. We use this only for analytics and product improvement — not to serve advertising.
The App uses Google Firebase Crashlytics. If the App crashes or misbehaves, it sends us a crash report containing diagnostic information such as the stack trace, the state of the device at the time of the crash, the device model and operating-system version, and an app installation identifier. We use this solely to diagnose and fix stability problems.
The App includes a "Report a Bug" feature in Settings. If you use it, we receive the message you write, the category you select, and — only if you choose to provide it — your email address. To help us reproduce the problem, the report also automatically includes basic technical details: your device manufacturer and model, your Android version, the App version, and a timestamp. Bug reports are delivered to us by email through our email-delivery provider. We use this information only to respond to you and to fix the issue. The report does not include any advertising ID, device identifier, or location.
PocketCloud offers paid access (a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, and a one-time lifetime purchase). Payments are processed entirely by Google Play — we never receive or store your payment-card details. When you purchase, Google Play provides the App with a purchase token, which we verify with Google's servers to confirm your entitlement and unlock the paid content. We retain a record of your entitlement status to keep your content unlocked.
Your learning data — chapter and lesson progress, quiz and practice-exam scores, flashcard review state, bookmarks, and app preferences such as dark mode — is stored locally on your device. We do not upload, sync, or transmit this data to our servers. It is removed when you uninstall the App.
Paid chapters are downloaded from our cloud storage after your purchase is verified, and are stored on your device in encrypted form so they remain available offline. Access is tied to your active entitlement; if your entitlement ends, offline access to paid content is removed.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks. We rely on the following service providers, who process information on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, App Check / Play Integrity) | Analytics, crash reporting, content delivery, and anti-abuse / security |
| Google Play | Payment processing and purchase verification |
| Email-delivery provider (Resend) | Delivering the bug reports you send us |
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the App.
Analytics and crash data are retained according to Google Firebase's standard retention periods. Bug-report emails are kept for as long as needed to provide support and then deleted. Your entitlement record is kept while your purchase is active. Data stored only on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Because the App does not use accounts, you control most of your data directly:
Information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Paid content cached on your device is encrypted at rest. We use Google App Check / Play Integrity to help ensure that requests to our backend come from the genuine App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
PocketCloud is intended for adults and professionals preparing for a certification exam. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
EEA / UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. Our legal bases are our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App and providing support, our need to perform the purchase you request, and your consent where required (for example, for analytics).
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or "share" your personal information. You have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email abduloski.h@gmail.com.
Our service providers (notably Google) process data on servers that may be located in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
